A 2:3 vinegar (2 parts 100% distilled vinegar to 3 parts water) bath is safe and effective at removing calcium deposits, salt creep, and other hard minerals that build up in the chiller over time. Nutrients shouldn't cause any issues unless as long as the chiller is flushed (distilled vinegar ect.) annually to remove calcium and other deposits that may build up overtime from the nutrients.
