Magpul M-LOK Tape Switch Mounting Plate Surefire ST , Black

Not much to say, its simple and effect. It's made of plastic but it's "good" tough plastic. I have no doubts it will last longer than the switch itself. It's also very slim and so it doesn't feel awkward and clunky like some of the other switch mounts. My only critique would be I wish they made it a little easier to tuck the wire around the one mounting screw. It's no big deal but a little clip or something there would make me feel better.

I have a number of GI "bulk" Surefire tape switches. These aren't the ST models and aren't built to the same standards. They all have varying dimensions. Anyway, I took a gamble and tried the MAG617 and wasn't disappointed. One of my switches fit just fine. The other is a bit longer but would probably fit with a little bit of Dremel work. The mounting plate attached to the M-Lock interface just fine, and the pressure pad is slightly recessed but still very accessible. No adjustments to either the switch or the plate was necessary for this one.

Works as intended. Solid mount once it is installed. This pressure pad mount does require some real estate so make sure you take measurements. I feel that to price could be lower compared to what you get.

I love these Mounting plates for the Surefire ST Remote Tape switches. It makes the tape switch easy to remove and use on other guns without the need for the adhesive Velcro strips that come with the switch.

Typical Magpul quality. If your looking to mount a Surefire, or clone, tape switch to mlok then this is the ticket. I haven't had any issues with these on my bang sticks.

The only reason I'm giving it to three is it is a lot harder to install than what it says
