This was a perfect fit on my 2014 Silverado I had to put it on the door because I didn't like my toolbox mount I kept grounding out so I went with the upper door also to clear trees on my street

Snapped in half - Broke while driving
This is the second one of these mounts that have broken. I purchased this one in July 2024, not even 6 months ago. This one snapped in half while driving 35mph and with a Firestick antenna mounted on it. There won't be any more! I will be looking in the local ham shack for something that will last.

Easy to install
This installed easily on the trunk and the adjustability is a bonus. No more parking garage issues!

It does work, but for how long?
The mount does work, however the set screws are definitely not chromium steel. They are visibly rusting after less than one month. A mount made by Comet would probably be a better long-term solution, albeit more expensive up front.
