My hubby loves it
It’s study, you can see the face of the phone and make adjustments without removing the phone, and there is space for ID and key. When my hubby wears it, I think he looks like he is wearing a brace, but he doesn’t seem to mind.

Velcro is too wimpy.
The "Velcro" on this forearm band is very fine and does not have much strength and was constantly popping off and had to be reapplied (during mountaineering). To continue to use it I sewed on some of my own "industrial stength" Velcro. If I put in on the "outside side" of my forearm, I felt the need to twist it to the top or inside of my forearm to get a good look at my smartphone because it would be at a weird angle. This combines with that there is some type of polarization conflict with the plastic window and my prescription sunglasses (prefer non-polarized eyeglasses for exactly this sort of problem but had no choice). Colors get weird at off angles. Seemed to work pretty good with my smartphone.Update: Still using a year later for hiking. I replaced the velcro with extreme Velcro. On the wrist strap, It was stiff so it would pop up and catch on the end so I added a snap fastener (General). I replaced the window plastic with some more polarized eyeglass friendly plastic from a cheap waterproof bag/case. I added some stiches on the left side to reduce the bag width for my smartphone to push it right (so I could see the time on my smartphone which Google (Android) moved to the extreme left. I would prefer there to be no plastic window but experiments showed there would need to be some type of phone retention structure holding the phone inside the bag. Note sometimes a little water would get in the bag and fog up the window. I also had to replace the zipper pulls because they broke off. Another interesting note is that the bag is so spacious that I can put a battery charger brick with a short 90 degree usb cable behind my phone so I can charge on the go if my phone gets depleted which is very likely with GPS navigation apps.

Feel like a ninja, look like a dork.
It’s exactly what is advertised. Not as cool as I thought it was after the novelty wore off. It’s pretty handy for carrying small tools that I use for work. The touch screen works just fine through the plastic. I haven’t tested this in cold or wet weather.

Must have for Runners!
I saw this product about 3 years ago, but didn't purchase....I'm glad I did this time around. This is a great item...the velcro straps keeps it secure while running. Not too heavy or bulky. Has zip storage for key(s), ID and money. Unlike the one that wraps around your forearm, this one allows you to view the touch screen mid-stride...without breaking a sweat. 2 Thumbs UP!

It can be adjusted at any time.
I think it's very convenient to have this handset arm bag, after loading the handset, the size is just right. Try the next operation, point screen call can be, the opening is zipper design, more secure than buttons, the belt can adjust the waist arm tightening, so I can adjust at any time to achieve the most comfortable state.

great ideas, poor execution
the product is a great idea, the huge down fall is the HORRIBLE Velcro.it doesn't hold hardly at all, it constantly comes undone.i have to wear a batting glove to keep the case from falling off my arm.if they improved the Velcro it would be an awesome product.the Velcro is so bad that i would have to not recommend this product because of the huge risk of losing your phone because it comes undone while in the middle of a run or hike.

Terrible touch screen responsiveness and say goodbye to your home button.
I have an iPhone 8 Plus. I fly paragliders and thought this would be a handy wrist mount, but the plastic material triggers false touches. I have 0 control over the screen once it gets into the bag because the phone thinks there is someone touching the screen immediately. So when you go to use the touch screen it just doesn’t respond. Every once in a while I’ll get it to work but it is few and far between. Only half of the home button clears the fabric where the plastic starts which makes it nearly impossible for the home button to register a touch. Overall this is a poorly designed product.UPDATE: Customer service has reached out to me 2 times to offer a full refund. I’m not interested in a full refund of $14. It’s just not worth my time. However, I’ll give credit where credit is due. I bumped the review up from 1 star to 2. Customer service is great, but that’s really all I can say.

Made my buddy jealous.
Arrived in perfect condition, worked as advertised, and mostly stays in place. Does ride up a bit and has to be pulled back, but I have thick forearms and thin wrists lol.My friend saw it and wanted one as well, so I bought another one. Call it a poor-man's Pipboy.

Fresh novel design but suffers from significant issues. Could be improved.
I really appreciate the fact that shipping was 4 days earlier than the earliest date. The price is also very reasonable. I also think the design is really fresh and novel and another pro by comparison to similar product is it protects your phone against rain or moisture, which most wrist bands don't do. But I have to be objective about this item: it has some issues which make it a less than optimal purchase, and they can and should be improved. If they are improved - I really wouldn't mind paying $10 extra for it.1. First of all - the Velcro fasteners are really weak, they come apart very easily.2. Although the touch screen function works as expected, without any difficulty in typing or using a stylo, - for some reason the double tap function in my phone ceases to work properly when the phone is inside the pouch. Sometimes it works, at other times it doesn't, which is incredibly frustrating, because the button to turn on my screen is on the other side of the phone. So when it suddenly refuses to work - the only way to make it work is to either take the phone out, or take the stylo out, both of which take a long time. No idea why this is the case that the screen is all good and responsive except when it comes to double tap to turn on the screen.3. Finally, I'm very lucky my screen is 5.7 inches diagonally - this is perfect size for the pouch, but now I can't really upgrade to a 6' screen and still use the pouch. If I had a 6 inch phone - parts of the screen would not be visible. So keep this in mind - if you have a phablet with screen larger than 5.7' diagonally - this product isn't for you. Yes - the phone will still fit, but the transparent film window is not large enough to see entire screen. This pouch is ideal for a 5.5' to 5.7' screen, and it will most likely fit in even with protective case on, but protective case might make the screen less responsive (the case with me). But nothing larger and definitely nothing smaller! If you have a 5.2' screen or smaller it will dangle around in the pouch, so be warned.Still so far I think it's a keeper, because I will likely sew on stronger Velcro fasteners and it's not so expensive either. I wanted to give it 4 stars, - but the lack of double tap reliability, where it suddenly quits issue is quite significant. It works most of the time, but when it suddenly stops working - I find I have to slightly open the zipper and nudge the stylo a bit to turn on the screen which takes extra time and makes it inconvenient. But I'm sure if you have a "screen on/off" button on the front faceplate, or on the side of your phone - this will not be an issue for you as you won't have to take the phone out to turn it on. In your case weak fasteners will be the only issue to contend with.Another minor issue is there are no separate compartments to fit in bank cards, etc. There is a top compartment for the phone and a compartment below that for bills, but no dividers for individual cards nor a separate zippered pocket.
