For my use(s), this thing is awesome.
The media could not be loaded. This is a great new way to hold paper w/o glue, thumbtacks, or tape! Thanks to Dave Jones for reviewing it on YT. I make art in mat board, which has been very difficult to hold flat for photographic purposes. I had hoped this static electricity board would work, and it does! I can see how anyone wanting to photograph art on paper would appreciate that use, in addition to it's regular paper display bulletin board uses. One difference from the pictured product is that there is no clear plastic cover to lift as shown in one of the pictures. One could put plastic on it, but it doesn't come with it like in the picture. This thing is too large for UPS, so it goes with a freight company. The box was pretty banged up, but it was/is in perfect condition, in spite of the obvious rough ride. $190 is a lot for a bulletin board, but in my case (since it solved a major art photography problem) it was worth it for sure.

Missing piece and cheaply made.
Was missing the film that the material was supposed to go under. Product overall seamed cheap for the price. Sent it back.

Great Organizational and Communication Tool
As someone who owns a small consulting company in which most of the employees telecommute and check in at my office once a week, this has proven to be a great tool. The box has a mounting template making it easy to properly mount on the wall (you'll still want to use a level) and the batteries are included (I found them in the battery compartment). I was finally able to throw away the gross looking cork board message board I was previously using for memos, notes, handouts, etc. This looks so much nicer.I have the consultants' schedules posted on the board as well as project workflow sheets so everyone knows who has to do what for the week and which clients they need to meet with. I also have training DVDs up there, which are holding well, for new hires to grab and watch. The only thing I've noticed is that if you try putting more the a couple of stapled pages up there they will not hold, but for my purposes, things that have multiple pages would usually go into people's inboxed and not on the message board so that isn't a drawback for me but may be for other people.Overall this is a great communication/organization tool and we will be using it for as long as it lasts, which will hopefully be a long time as I really do like it. The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt they should have had a converter that allows you to plug it into the wall included since it can be used with one rather than running off of batteries.

Stuck
This product reminds me of the Boogie Board technology which pitched the advent of the paperless writing revolution by replacing the old-fashioned Magic Slate or Doodle Sketch toys with a high-tech writing gadget. The spectacular design was undermined by its redundant utility (cell phone apps provided one-touch offerings), and limited accessibility (no interactivity or connectivity with this device and other platforms).I feel the same way about this electro-adhesion board technology. The Justick is definitely cool, but has limited impact and potential due to the same challenges as faced by the Boogie Board. We are an archival and graphic arts shop and there’s an advantage to not taping or pinning delicate photos and documents to presentation boards. The disadvantage is that the Justick adhesion technology is flush and strong enough to require peeling back a corner of the posted item in order to remove it which somewhat defeats the “do no harm” pitch of this product. The Justick Display and Bulletin Board may be better suited to the youth, college or start-up culture whose gadget mindset will appreciate the product's eclectic and playful appeal.

great for the office
This board works great in our busy office for posting quick notes and messages to the entire staff. It is quite large and you can see multiple sheets. We have this in a centralized location for everyone to see. I love that we don't have to waste time with pushpins or tape - the stickiness of the board is great even for thick paper. This board did lose a star because you cannot have 2 sheets of paper stick - it simply doesn't work. Perfect for one sheet and plenty big for several single stack.I only recently got it so I don't quite know how long the batteries will last but it did come with the 4 AA batteries necessary to make it work.

Justick by Smead, Display & Bulletin Board
This is a very attractive bulletin board with a sturdy brushed aluminum frame. There is a template on the box for placement of your hanging screws which are stored in the battery compartment. Four AA batteries were included with the bulletin board but I’m not sure if they are only included with the demo test model I received. They say these should last about a year. You can also buy a switching power adapter and the batteries will only serve as a back-up in case of power failure. A light will flash if the batteries are low. The adapter should be:Input 100-240v-50/60 HzOutput 6.0V-100MAI would think at the current price of $119.99 they would include an adapter for the customer’s convenience. They really aren’t that expensive. The bulletin board works very well to hold pictures, brochures, card-stock or CDs (label side towards the board). I found five stapled sheets were about the limit for safe hold. It can lose sticking power if the board is dirty. Just disable the batteries to wipe clean. Not intended for use by children under five.Justick also makes a very nice similar “whiteboard”. You can stick your plans, schedule whatever to the board then there is a drop-down, clear, erasable cover that you can write on.
