Wooster Brush 5221 2.5 inch Silver Tip Angle Sash Paintbrush, Pack of 6

Who likes to clean brushes? I'm a professional painter doing exterior repaints in SW Florida, mostly stucco houses. We apply paint the old fashioned way with a brush or roller, so we really put brushes to work. Paint dries quickly here, especially in the sun. By the end of the day, bristles about halfway up a brush begin to get clogged with dried paint. The lower half stays workable though. Cleaning brushes at the end of the day is crappy work and takes time, which costs money. And the bristles get beat up a little each cleaning. Rather than pay wages to clean brushes at the end of the day, we either leave the brush in the cut bucket, or wrap it in painters plastic. At the end of the job, it is just as cheap to throw these away as to pay guys to clean them. May sound hokey, but this improves morale. Everybody likes a new brush because they perform better. As I see it, these brushes perform well and are a great value.

Buying these in bulk helps the price. Very affordable for a mid quality brush. Not as good as some brushes, but much better than a lot of other brushes. Good deal.

Bought the top of the line cabinet paint at Sherwin Williams. I also bought the brush they highly recommend. Before I finished the first coat, the bristles were clumping together making it impossible to finish. I grabbed one of my Silver Tips to finish the job and then immediately ordered another box. This is an awesome brush!

The Wooster silver tip angle brushes are great for cutting and trim. It does depend highly on the quality of paint your using as well. For this price it's a "No Brained". I give them a five star ⭐.
