This waterman pen comes in a stylish box.Waterman has a reputation for their quality pens and I was very impressed as soon as I saw the pen box and pen.I am left handed but still my writing was easy.My mum wrote a few lines too as her writing is better than mine and she is right handed.I am impressed with the hold, so comfortable in my hand, my writing just glides.It looks a classic design but has the name on the central trim and the angled top gives it a modern touch. The inner cartridge is underneath the display of the pen with the instructions.It was very easy to put the cartridge in and write straight away.This pen has a lovely fluid ease of writing..My writing felt as if I was using a fountain pen but without any of the mess. The writing looks so much better, It is a nice ink, smooth and works so well. My pen is very easy to hold for left handed writing and works perfectly too for a right hander.Extra waterman Cartridges are easy to source through Amazon.A wonderful present for someone special or a gift to yourself for a top quality pen.

The twist mechanism to extend it for use feel smooth and robust like it will last. It's all very well made.It writes smoothly too. It glides well on paper.The elephant in the room is the price. When I got it, the listed price was £90 which is a lot for a ballpoint pen. It's not a fountain pen. So the question is: is it worth it? Well it's a good pen but that depends on your budget. For me, as nice as it is, the quality doesn't justify the price, but you might see it differently, especially if its a gift or something

I opted for the rollerball, and very pleased I did. Firstly, it arrived in a beautiful presentation box, in the box you get the casing for the pen slid in the soft suede interior and then you lift this out to get to the actual cartridge/rollerball. You will also find the warranty here too. Because of the great presentation it would make for a great gift.The pen itself feels quite lightweight, however still substantial enough that you feel your writing with a costly/mid to high range pen. It's a joy to use, glides smoothly along the page, the ink drys quickly and looks fantastic. It feels balanced and comfortable to use, and the black and blue colours are very subtle and in my opinion, quite classy. The refills/rollerball replacments are just a few pounds and i should imagine will last me a very long time anyway. I have no doubt, if kept well, this pen would last a lifetime. And for that i would recommend

This a lovely fountain pen and I do love writing with it, as I do with all fountain pens. It came in a nice presentation box however I don't think it's any different from my £30 or £40 fountain pens.

Dies ist mein erstes Schreibgerät von Waterman. Ich habe bei derartig hochwertigen Schreibgeräten bislang immer anderen Anbietern den Vorzug gegeben. Nachdem ich den Kugelschreiber von Waterman ausgepackt und erstmals in der Hand gehalten habe, habe ich mich gefragt, warum ich mich nicht eher mit dieser Marke beschäftigt habe.Der Kugelschreiber ist für seinen Preis überraschend klein, fast schon filigran, aber überraschend schwer. Er ist gut ausbalanciert und liegt gut in der Hand. Durch die perfekte Balance schreibt er schon fast wie von selbst. Bei billigen Kugelschreibern muss man die Spitze schon nach unten drücken, was zugegebenermaßen kein Kraftaufwand ist, aber bei diesem Kugelschreiber geht die Spitze aufgrund ihres Gewichtes schon alleine runter.Der Tintenfluss ist leicht, da kleckert nichts. Ich verspüre auch kein kratzendes Gefühl, wie es bei anderen Kugelschreiberminen schon mal der Fall sein kann. Das ist natürlich nicht der Verdienst vom Kugelschreiber, sondern vom Hersteller. Aber ich habe auch schon Kugelschreiber gehabt, die toll in der Hand liegen, die Mine aber gekratzt hat, so dass dort kein flüssiges, entspannendes Schreibgefühl aufkam. Dies ist hier nicht der Fall. Der Schreiber fühlt sich sofort an, als ob man schon sein ganzes Leben mit diesem Stift geschrieben hätte.Der Waterman Hémisphère Kugelschreiber ist nicht ganz preiswert, aber man merkt schon, wo das ganze Geld steckt. Man erhält einen entsprechenden Gegenwert. Man zahlt nicht für den Markennamen, sondern für den Stift, der sich beim Schreiben auch sehr wertvoll anfühlt.Da ich es bisher gewohnt war, mit Kugelschreibern zu schreiben, die mit einem Klickverschluss ein- und ausgefahren wurden, musste ich mich erst einmal umstellen, da hier ein Drehverschluss vorhanden ist. Aber das ging schnell. Der Drehverschluss selber geht ganz smooth.Wenn man den Kugelschreiber mal aufschraubt, ist es allerdings vorbei mit der Herrlichkeit. Das Gewinde ist nicht, wie man es für den Preis eigentlich erwarten würde, nicht aus Metall, sondern aus Plastik. Hier bleibt es abzuwarten, wie stabil das Plastik ist und wie es sich bei längerem Gebrauch verhält. Da man die Mine allerdings nicht allzu oft wechselt, sollten sich die Auswirkungen in Grenzen halten. Ich könnte mir allerdings vorstellen, dass die Mechanik für das Auf- und Abfahren der Mine auch aus dem selben Material ist, so dass hier die Schwachstelle des Kugelschreibers liegen könnte. Da dies aber nur Vermutungen sind, führt dies nicht zur Abwertung.Wenn man den Kugelschreiber pfleglich behandelt, sollte ihm aber dennoch ein langes (Schreib-) Leben beschieden sein.

Bolígrafo roller muy elegante, y muy agradable en la escritura.El precio es elevado, pero eso lo lleva la marca. Quizás con otras marcas tipo Tombow puedas encontrar un mejor balance entre precio y escritura, pero perderás un poco el plus del lujo o del regalo.La única pega que le encuentro es que es excesivamente liso, pulido. No tiene ninguna zona estriada, ni de ningún material tipo goma que facilite cogerlo al escribir. En verano con manos sudadas no sé cómo se comportará, pero tampoco me imagino usando este roller en la obra así que no sé cuantas veces se usará con la mano sudada.El recambio viene en la misma caja, en la parte interior inferior, hay que sacar la plataforma donde se presenta el bolígrafo.
