Very easy to hold and has a tip on right side of unit to remove dark in-grown Mark’s on veggies. Ergonomically requires attention when making long strokes (I.e. carrot) versus fingers/nails. This is sharp and makes the chore of peeling very easy. I love it.

I wanted the name brand peeler I had gotten from Sur La Table. I never expected this inexpensive peeler could peel the tough skin of a jicama, like the fancy one from the French kitchen store, but it did! Unexpected, but happily satisfied.I wasn’t paid to write this.

Only the blade is made of steel (not even sure), the rest is cheap plastic, can't hang on magnetic strips
