Q: does it change color under uv light?

It doesn't change colour, it glows brighter.

Q: Do you think you could use this paint on the mid sole of a pair of trainers?

No because it’s acrylic and in time it would wash off. You could try putting a coat of clear nail varnish on it after the paint and that might last a little longer

Q: Can this work on wood? For instance, wardrobe doors?

may need multiple coats because of opacity (see through) - higher cost ultimately. Recommended to finish with clear varnish - cost inrease again!

Q: it says in the listings that it can be mixed to thin it down so would this thin down enough to spray through a spray gun?

In a word, Yes! I thin down paints to spray, but through a empty spray bottle. The only draw back on that is that eventually it gives up and can clog with the paint. If the paint is very thin, several layers will be required for a stronger colour, but if too thick will clog up. Trial and error. Good luck.
