These held my canopy tent down during a festival, did the job just great. I figure it can also double as a way to carry drinking water also.

Ordered 8 of them. None leaked. Like others commented velcro straps to long for tight wrap around single leg, but still stayed in place & held down in light winds. Love the portability & small storage footprint

For the most part the leaks are small but it’s still leaks

I chose this item because it looks very durable. My first time using and they leaked from the bottom all over my car. Overpriced & unreliable. Do yourself a favor and buy actual weights.

We filled these up and then left them sitting to test them out and make sure there were no leaks. The plastic feels heavy duty and like it won't tear or puncture easily. When full these weigh almost 23 pounds, which feels like plenty of weight per corner to hold down our canopy in wind or a rain storm. They collapse down to a pretty small size for storage and when full they even sit steadily on their own due to the flat bottom. Overall I'm very happy with these and glad to finally have them. I much prefer the water weight bags to sand since they can be filled on site and we don't have to haul and store heavy sand bags.

I use these to hold down an outdoor screen for when I have movies outside. They do the job perfectly.

I have used sand bags also but they are harder to fill up and these you can take with you on a camping trip and all you need is a water source to fill them. They are thick and good quality and do not leak. Highly recommend.

I generally try and use stakes for my canopy tent when I take it to use at festivals and events, but sometimes that just isn’t an option, either due to rocks, asphalt, sand, or concrete. As an alternative, I have been using sandbags, but the sandbags have their limitations.The sandbags, although they work, are heavy to carry around and they are not conducive to being emptied and refilled each time they are used. I have also found that the grab handles on my sandbags always tear off after a short time. Lastly, over time the sandbags leak and then I have to vacuum sand out of my vehicle. These water weight bags are such a better option, particularly because they can be filled on-site, and then emptied before packing them away and taking them home.The handles on these bags are robust, and the bags are constructed just like the dry bags I use in my kayak. The welded seams appear quite durable, and the sealed O-ring cap is watertight. I probably wouldn’t want to transport them full, however, just in case. These obviously shouldn’t be used in winter in Northern climes, or else the water in them will freeze and burst the bags.If you’re looking for a viable alternative to sandbags for your canopy tent, these will likely do the trick!
