OK, first things first. The cover arrived by Fedex only 2 days after I ordered when I wasn't expecting it for another 4-5 days. Well packed, but also easy to unpack without a lot of excess packing material, which I appreciate. Super-easy installation- I had this thing fully installed by myself (no helpers) in 45 minutes with minimal fuss and adjusting. I did have to cut out the upper front corners of the factory bed liner in my 2019 F150 and drill routing holes for the drain hoses but I knew from the instructions to expect that so it was all good.After install I took the truck first thing through my local car wash and it passed with flying colors and VERY minimal water in the bed. Be realistic- no bed cover I've ever owned was completely watertight but this was the best of the lot by far. Highly recommend!

Easy to install but shipped damaged to please honor warranty

I was looking for a tonneau cover for my f150 that 1- look good 2- will protect my stuff from the element and unwanted attention 3- will allow me to add a bed rack and still be functional. The Retrax one has been the perfect cover for me. It kept my stuff protected from the sun, dust, snow, and rain. It allowed me to add an RCI bed rack with adapters. After almost a year of use in tough condition, it still works great and retracts/locks like new.

This my 3rd retrax cover. It's pretty easy to install, but it requires 2 people. The cover is a solid piece, and very sturdy. The main issue I've had with all 3 is that the rear of the cover (the tailgate end) has a very thin, single flap of rubber that is supposed to keep the water out, but it doesn't. If Retrax has engineers on staff that could design and fabricate these great covers that sell for more than $1300, then they should be able to figure out a better waterproofing system. Also, they have plastic adjustment screws that strip out easily with the included Allen wrench. I'm not sure I'd buy another Retrax unless they change these 2 things, there are too many other options out there now.

This looks good on the truck and works pretty well. It leaks a little at all 4 corners, and at two points on the tailgate where the step causes some irregularities. The bed rails on the 2016 F-150 do not run strait and there are ridges on the bed rail caps. Because of this the ridges cross the gasket area on the rails - most likely allowing water in at that point. Another issue on the 2016 is the front edge of the bed is curved. That makes positioning the cover much more critical - lots of gasket overlap in the middle and not much in the corners. Overall I like it, but I was really hoping for something a little more weather resistant. I had a different brand on my last truck and it leaked too - guess I need to just get used to it.

I installed the Retrax bed cover on a 2018 Ford F150.. The install was very easy and took about 30 minutes by myself. The quality of the cover is a little less than I expected. The cover functions smoothly a little tough near the tailgate but as most reviews suggested I am sure it will get easier with use. I have put it through both a car wash and hard rain and have minimal water intrusion at the front of the truck bed in both corners. This was better than I expected having owned a trifold cover previously which allowed water intrusion on every side of the cover. I would most likely spring for the all aluminum cover if I had to buy it again.

Expensive for what you get. Never sealed properly, and cover broke after just two years. Expected better for the price.
