Dog Soldiers

I watched this movie when I was a teenager when it first came out. 15ish years later it still stands up.

Dog Soldiers is one of the best werewolf movies to come along in a long time. Combining classic werewolf horror with the action of a gritty war movie, and a mix of dark humor to go along with it, Dog Soldiers is a fun and gripping movie. I was looking to replace my old, second hand DVD copy when I found it on Blu Ray on Amazon for a great price. The Blu Ray is light on extra content, but the quality of the transfer is good. Whether you've seen it before and want to add it to your collection, or you've never seen the film and are looking for a fun movie, at this price, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend Dog Soldiers.

U have it 4 stars. A solid European werewolf movie. Decent acting and special effects. I enjoy scary movies especially werewolf ones. Not as good as the original Howling or American Werewolf in London, but those 2 are the gold standard for werewolf movies. There are some many bad, low budget werewolf movies out, this was A plesant surprise. A good movie to add to my scary movie collection.

An extremely underrated werewolf flick! The British angle makes it unique & once the action starts it never takes its foot off the pedal. A group of British soldiers are on a routine training exercise when suddenly they are confronted with a new- and more dangerous- exercise! The werewolves are some of the best in all of horror. The Howling is the only thing that comes close. A must have for fans of horror, especially the werewolf genre.

Great practical effects. Great story. Seems to be a struggle to find a good werewolf movie... look no further. Dog Soldiers nails it!

Dog Soldiers is one of several very good British horror movies that came out about the same time. Unfortunately they seem to have been shot by largely independent makers working to a limited budget and therefore using relatively cheap cameras/film. Subsequent DVD releases were therefore poor and grainy too. Perhaps the worst example is 28 Days Later, the blu-ray version of which is awful and simply highlights the poor quality of the original. Dog Soldiers is not, as far as I'm aware, available as a region B blu-ray, so I got this import from the US. It's quality is not as bad as 28 Days Later, but it isn't by any means a great transfer. I would give the movie 5 stars, but had to dock one for the transfer. Very watchable, and certainly about as good as I've ever seen the movie outside a cinema, but wouldn't it be great if some of these minor 'classics' were restored?

Great movie, DVD quality at best , not blu ray quality

Gran edición de Dog Soldiers, muy rara ya que es la única que cuenta con subtítulos en español, por desgracia no cuenta con ningún extra pero muy recomendable para quién le guste las películas de licántropos.

This film is 100% better then any other werewolf film out there well worth getting
