I guess this is good for herpes that I don't have but in winter, dryness on my lips it helps before it gets worse. Also makes my lips nice and smooth. I found it brings down swelling. LOVE IT!

Just arrived today, it says to place a dab on it MULTIPLE times a day, after the first application, it dried this bastard up. Thankfully I don't get bad ones (looks like a small pimple), but this one is already on it's way out in less than 12 hours after the third application. Look forward to trying this BEFORE it starts to swell above the skin, lemon balm and Zinc is the key here, I've never tried a product with this level of lemon balm, well worth my $20!8/22 UPDATE: This product dried it up and it fell off, almost as if it didn't happen, I will report back to this post if I can successfully stop one before it even decides to appear. So far so good. Mine have always been singular bumps and not the ones you see on Google images so bear in mind my results may be different than others!2nd update 9/26/2020: One tried to show up (wheat products trigger them), I felt it trying to form under my skin, not raised, just a tender spot, I immediately applied it, and did it two more times that day, it stopped it before it could even raise up, today is the 2nd day, I'll use it three times today. A little goes an extremely long way. I'll hopefully never have one pop up again! This is a 1+ month update, I'll check back in 3 more months!

I use this on my lips and it keeps them nice and moisturized. It also helps with bug bites and clearing up scars. I also have the one without the zinc oxide and I find them very similar but this one is better for acne scars. It’s pricey but worth it!

I love this stuff. It works wonders on cold sores. The last one I got I treated immediately with this balm and it not only relieved the pain but it also kept the sore from being visible. I could still tell it was there but there was not cracking or bleeding or even discoloration. On top of that it feels and smells awesome. Love it!Be careful leaving it in a hot car though. I did have my jar liquefy on me the other day. Luckily it didn't make a mess but it was close.

I get nasty cold sores, and so far nothing like Abbreva or antiretroviral medications prescribed by my M.D. has ever really helped. But this little balm pot seems to help. Its smell reminds me of a citronella candle, but more importantly, it helps soothe my skin and the nasties clear up quite quickly. I recommend this for anyone with cold sores or fever blisters.
