These were great. I recommend using a router to make these sit flush into your shelf. I used them for a 5" cut off of my butcher block. I thought it would make a cute floating shelf in my baking nook. These worked great.

I purchased these to use to install floating shelves. The brackets that aren't drilled into studs really don't hold well. If you're hanging something that will allow you drill all the brackets into studs, I'd said you'll be fine in purchasing these. However, if you're going to have to place a good number of these directly into sheetrock (even using the anchors), I'd pay a little more for something sturdier.

Perfectly hold shelves. These look tremendous and for the look we were going for perfectly.

These are made to be adjustable, hence the bolt and screws, but the practicality is lacking. To adjust the prong vertically, you need to either tighten the screws (up) or use a mole grip (down). This works fine but the screws are also used to adjust the left / right tilt movement (tighten right screw, prong tilts left, and vice-versa). The problem, therefore, is obvious; adjusting the tilt setting also adjusts the vertical setting, and adjusting the vertical setting adjusts the tilt.This makes for a lot of messing around until you chance on the correct alignment. Furthermore, you cannot adjust the prong downwards once you have attached the bracket to the wall - only side-to-side lateral movement by use of the bolt, or tilt by use of the screws. This is because once the bracket is on the wall, you can't gain purchase with a grip in order to squeeze the two plates together.I spent two hours adjusting four of these in order to attach an oak beam to the wall. Luckily, once they were on they needed no further adjusting, but even so - two hours.And a warning - DO NOT USE THE SCREWS AND PLUGS that come with these brackets if you're planning on using them to support more than one Kg or so. They are appalling. Press down on the screw and the plug squashes like it's made of Christmas cracker plastic. Invest in some good quality coach screws instead.

For a compitant Diy-er very easy to fit. Nice adjustments for up, down and side to side. You will have to recess the fixing brackets into the back of the shelf otherwise you will have a 20mm gap at the back. My 1 ton cat thinks his shelf is the cats whiskers......... Should read 1 stone cat, flippin' auto correct!.

Easy to install and the fact they can adjust slightly is great.
