EVERHARDSteel Seam Roller 1-1/2" X 2" Radius Edge MR02260

I purchased this to replace a plastic craft-rolling tool that broke some time ago. I expected it to be well built and solid, but that's just the start! The roller is on super smooth bearings, it's not out of balance or off center, and the wood handle is nice and solid. When I feel I need to maintenance it in the future I can just pop off a cap and unfasten a lock nut to disassemble the roller assembly. This will definitely go with my well made antique tools that I still use, but it's brand new!The only thing I would like to see is a crisper edge opposite from the radiused edge. One side of the roller has a radius of approx. 5/16 while the opposite edge has a small radius of 1/8. This is good for rolling down seams (so you don't get that sharp crease) but I will be using this for the sharp edge, so I'll have to grind that small radius down to serve my purpose.

I used this roller to install Eterbond tape to a metal roof. The steel roller with ball bearings makes the job go much better. Applying this tape you need good pressure to seal tape along various edges for a good seal. I am very pleased with this product than a cheaper roller since I will be using more than once. Good quality tools are more valuable than cheap fixes designed for single use.

Very nice high quality product. I used it for installing automotive sound deadening material and the trick to that is getting it pressed on as tightly as possible. What took me 4 hours with a smaller plastic roller took me less than an hour with this roller. The bearings roll very smoothly which actually made it problematic at times to keep good pressure at odd angles.The rounded front face makes it possible to get into corners as well which is a huge plus. I feel as if this tool will long outlast my need for it.

Arrived quickly but haven't used yet

I bought this as an economical alternative to the rollers that EternaBond sells for helping to seal down their RV roof sealant tape.Has good weight to it, doesn't seem to bend when you apply force, rolls easily even with force applied, really nothing not to like about it.I don't expect to need it often. I replaced a section of my camper's roof, and then used EternaBond to seal up the openings in the rubber roof, and then used this roller to firmly seat about 8 linear feet of 4" wide tape. Worked exactly as expected and needed.

I hated spending the money on this but it's a good quality product and I'm happy I did. Worked well with Eternabond tape, I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy it again as you can't beat a quality item.

It arrived with the end cap broken off and bent. Wanted to try again but price had increased over $10.00. Will try somewhere else.

It started to rust after the first use of applying sealant tape on a dry pond liner. But with some extra care after use it should last a very long time. The roller bearings functioned very smoothly.
